Conversations with my BFF

My gf asked me... have you been Happy in the last week? I'm usually for the fact that people can incoherently and vehemently gossip or judge me all they want, because there is no way in the world to stop them entirely. If someone wants to be that preoccupied...go ahead! There are caustic remarks and there are remarks whom I find sincere. Sticks and stones will break my bones but WORDS will never hurt me, not especially if you are not my immediate family. I will just ignore you. (Yup, talk to the hand -that was my reply to her cos she cannot figure out some stuff on her end.) Life's precious and fleeting, I don't wish to waste time and energy worrying about what other people think. People whom I don't know, don't matter to me, whom I probably won't even like, maybe. Ultimately whose opinion outweighs all else? My Art Thou Father in Heaven... So now, she knows... and she agreed with me. We are not here to please any man, maybe just the husband but other than that... no one else!
